JOB DETAILS
Job Objective:-
To lead the HR team at group level which includes the establishment at Mumbai and Pune.
The selected candidate will also handle groups Middle east operation with Headquarters at Dubai.
As Head of HR the Job responsibility would be take care of talent acquisition, establishing PMS
Program, HR policies and programmes and ad using/overseeing the industrial relations at Pune location.
Responsibilities:
HR Strategy & Policy
Receive inputs from CEO & HODs with respect to business plan, areas of improvement, attention, gaps and business challenges that need to be addressed
Define HR strategy and develop HR organization structure accordingly.
Periodic evaluation to measure HR efficiency based on key deliverable metrics.
Budgeting
Analyze past spends on HR.
Determine budget for recruitment, employee welfare, training & development, facilities and rewards and recognition.
Monitor actual spend v/s the budget.
Recruitment
Develop/ review staff forecasting based on business plan.
Review recruitment policy, sourcing strategies, selection mechanism and roles for outsourcing.
Design & develop capability framework and job description for unique roles.
Rewards & Recognition
Design and review framework for rewards and recognition schemes.
Approve budgets as per policy.
Communicate guidelines to all Regional Head HR.
Training & Development
Develop/ Review Training and Development policy consisting of strategies, objectives and plan
Develop budgets.
Circulate the listed training activities to all functional HODs.
Identify and source external agents for providing customized training inputs with commercial proposals.
Performance Management System
Communicate performance management philosophy, structure, programs and tools.
Assist individual departments to develop departmental targets at corporate.
Finalize/ approve the format for PMS based on previous year feedback.
Define periods & timelines for PMS.
Resolve queries (if any).
Ensure achievement of goals by end of the year.
Provide feedback to all departments on expected level of performance.
Ensure conduct of Annual Performance Review, as per timeline.
Employee Engagement
Benchmark best practices in Employee Welfare to develop/ review employee welfare strategies and policies.
Allocate budgets for Employee Welfare activities.
List and communicate the objectives of the activities to all HODs.
Ensure welfare activities are conducted as per schedule.
Generate the feedback report/ Grievance Report and forward the report to CEO.
Employee Separation
Conduct Exit Interview employees who have submitted their resignation.
Counsel key employees who have submitted their resignation.
Start disciplinary actions against key employees after receiving complaints and dissatisfaction report.
Ensure commercial authority and controls are disabled and inform Finance.
Ensure full and final settlement is paid.
Industrial Relations
Advice on strategic IR, handling unions.
Advice on union negotiations and signing settlements.
Represent management before labour commissioner.
Co-ordinate with company advocates in court matters.
Liaisioning with government departments.
To keep the smooth relations with union.
To handle legal issues.
Qualifications:
Graduate with MBA (HR) from a reputed Organization.
Must have Manufacturing Industry exposure
