Contacting candidates, following-up with candidates, and managing candidate pipeline.
Has the ability to reach out into the external market to effectively identify, attract and interact with passive candidates.
Meet with managers to discuss needs.
Scheduling interviews, briefing and debriefing candidates before and after interviews.
Maintaining timely documentation of all conversations with candidates within our internal database.
Presenting candidates to interview panel applying high quality standards.
Posting job descriptions on job boards, and tracking posting status and results.
Maintain positive relationships with candidates, hiring managers and partners.
Maintain flexibility to deal with ambiguity and the evolving needs of the business environment.
Stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques.
Help drive recruitment initiatives. Eg: Diversity hiring, Work with defined SLA and achieve closure.
Work as an individual contributor.
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
2-3 years of experience into IT recruitment.
MBA/Masters in an HR discipline).
Should have exceptional communication skills - written and spoken.
Considerable experience with myriad sourcing strategies including portals, job posts, social networking, conferences, headhunting etc.
Demonstrable creativity with respect to sourcing candidates.
Well versed with technology and associated jargon.
Ability to discuss technology to a limited extent as required by the profile.
Ability to grasp and deliver an excellent pitch to potential candidates.
Keen sense of searching for and identifying exceptionally talented candidates.
Experience with using new age media such as social network, linkedin, blogs etc.
Process oriented: Demonstrable commitment to defining, documenting and following processes and workflows.
