Job description
Role & responsibilities
Support the central manpower planning & recruitment team in forecasting and preparing the annual manpower plan by working closely with the respective Regional Heads and analyzing attrition patterns in the region
Identify sources of recruitment and maintain relationships with recruitment consultants, contract agencies etc. in the region
Lead the regional recruitment process for positions in operational and professional bands including short listing candidates, preparation of selection schedules, identification of panel members for various stages of the selection process etc
Support the recruitment process for hiring senior roles (Managerial and above)
Negotiate salaries and issue job offers to the selected candidates as per guidelines
Regularly communicate with the selected candidates to negotiate and finalize their date of joining
Coordinate with the security team for support in timely completion of pre-employment verification checks for all employee
Conduct pre-joining / joining formalities (background checks, pre-employment medical check-ups, verification of all original documents submitted by employees, etc.) for all new joiners in the region
Ensure adherence to key performance metrics w.r.t recruitment like selection TAT, joining ratio etc
Conduct the orientation and induction program for the new joinees as per the defined guidelines
Maintain and regularly update recruitment related MIS and provide reports to the Regional Head HR on a periodic basis
Conduct the HR operations in the region as per the guidelines defined by the corporate HR team
Prepare and maintain employee personnel files in the region; Ensure their regular updation and send periodic updates to the respective corporate team
Maintain the HRIS data in the region including details of employee related information such as date of joining, grade, position, years of experience, educational background etc.
Collate payroll inputs (Leave and attendance) for all employees in the region and send to the central HR Operations team on a timely basis as per the prescribed format
Conduct full and final settlement process of attrited employees in the region and ensure timely completion of all activities related to the same including issue of experience certificate, PF transfer / withdrawals, coordination with other functions (IT, Finance) etc
Ensure thorough verification of all employee data including date of joining, date of resignation, notice period pay calculation, any bond signed by the employees etc. before full & final settlement
Ensure timely response and resolution of employee queries on HR operations and related activities
Validate and send requests for various certificates such as service certificate, address confirmation certificate, name change certificate etc. to the central operations team as and when requested by the employees
Ensure timely submission of tax proofs, administration of benefits and reimbursements for employees in the region as per the guidelines defined by the central HR Operations team
Ensure timely availability of information on activities for the purpose of internal and statutory audits
