JOB DETAILS
You will provide the full spectrum of key operational, transactional, and administrative HR support to Janes in India
Be involved in providing general HR advice and support to managers and staff at Janes on a day-to-day basis on HR operations area. Manage employee engagement, queries, grievances, and conflicts
You will manage HR operations and transactional work across all aspects of the employee life cycle in line with Janes policies and procedures and in line with local employment regulations
Work closely with the HR Director (APAC) and other members of the Janes people team to execute all aspects of the people strategy across India
You will support the local people leaders team in the timely provision of key management information, data, and reports
You will be a key support in the onboarding process through management of background checks, creation of employment contracts and welcome packs
Ensure timely updates in HRMS and maintain up to date information pertaining to India colleagues
You will help manage the payroll process for India in terms of running scheduled reports and liaising with payroll partners as required
India colleagues file management, regularly updating the same and support internal / external audits
Managing all the third-party vendors and ensuring SLAs are met, process invoices on time
The ideal skills and experience for this role are:
You will ideally have significant experience working in the HR function of a small or medium sized business. Experience of working in a global business environment would be beneficial
You will be comfortable in working in a fast-paced environment and will be pro-active with the ability to prioritise effectively
Experience of HR transactional and operational work through the employee life cycle is required - onboarding, off boarding, driving key employee engagement initiatives
Experience of managing and communicating the annual renewal of India benefits, with a particular focus on healthcare plans
Strong knowledge of India focused employment regulations / legislation balanced with a pragmatic approach to supporting the business
Demonstrable experience of supporting managers with a business partnering approach
You will be an excellent communicator
Flexibility to manage and prioritize a varied workload
Track record of developing strong stakeholder relationships with a customer orientated approach
High degree of IT and systems literacy including MS office, HRIS and payroll
