Role & responsibilities
The HR Generalist is responsible for a variety of HR-related tasks, including employee relations, compensation and benefits, training and development, compliance, payroll, attendance, onboarding, and exit. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Develop and implement employee onboarding programs.
Provide guidance and support to employees on a variety of HR-related topics, such as compensation, benefits, and leaves.
Conduct performance reviews and develop performance improvement plans.
Investigate employee complaints and take appropriate action.
Develop and administer compensation and benefits programs.
Manage the employee records system.
Stay up-to-date on HR laws and regulations.
Administer payroll and ensure that all employees are paid correctly and on time.
Manage attendance and ensure that all employees are meeting their attendance requirements.
Ensure that the company is in compliance with all applicable HR laws and regulations.
Conduct onboarding for new employees, including providing them with access to Zoho and training them on how to use the system.
Conduct exit interviews with departing employees and gather feedback on their experience with the company.
Maintain a strong working knowledge of Zoho and be able to use the system to effectively manage HR-related tasks.
Preferred candidate profile
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in HR, preferably in a generalist role.
Strong understanding of HR principles and practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
Experience with Zoho a plus.
