- Is the candidate from a Telecom or FMCG sector like ABG, Vodafone, Airtel etc?
- Is the candidate from a tier 1 B school?
- Full time MBA, 2007 - 2009 Tier I B School folks, minimum 8 to 11 years of progressive HR professional experience with a minimum of 6 years in the progressively larger field based HR roles.
Regional HR Head:
Job Overview / Summary
- The Regional HR Head will lead and facilitate the development of a highly effective, strategic HR function in the defined Region that ensures the organization has the structure, culture and talent needed to deliver on business goals.
- This individual will direct and facilitate the delivery of key HR services and infrastructure in line with the client HR Strategy for efficient and effective services at multi-levels.
- He/she will drive the implementation and adaptation of HR initiatives and practices across the region.
- The Regional HR Head will serve as advisor and counsel to the regional and Hub level leaders.
- The incumbent will work towards maximizing staffing resources and performance, ensuring economy and efficiency of work processes and implementing a culture of passion and ownership across the region in line with the client principles.
Major Responsibilities:
1. Direct and oversee the collaborative identification and development of annual and multi-year human resource strategies such as workforce planning, performance enhancement, HR capacity development, etc. to ensure the right talent at the right time and in the right place. Identify and facilitate the development of standards, tools, and resources. Devise and implement HR metrics.
2. Anchor Talent Management for the region with special focus on Talent Mobility and Succession Planning. Consistently engage with high potentials/critical talent using formal and informal tools and forums to build a strong Employer Value Proposition for the Top Talent. Build a strong pipeline of key talent for both the region and the organization while ensuring business continuity
3. Conduct regular reviews on people strategy, talent management with the Regional Head/Hub Head. Evaluate and facilitate HR functional capacity and service delivery for the Region. Implement collaborative actions to facilitate the evaluation and development of HR services and infrastructure. Build knowledge, expertise, and capacity leveraging internal and external resources. Ensure effective HR service systems and delivery at multi-levels as confirmed by key stakeholders.
4. Direct development and delivery of training and other capacity building efforts. Identify and access internal and external resources to provide timely and effective support.
5. Give design inputs on Field incentive schemes.
6 Perform other duties as assigned and contribute to the success of the HR department.As needed, serve as primary liaison for all regional HR matters.
- Ensure compliance across all HR processes like Induction, POSH training, payroll processing, new joiner and exit process.
Key Working Relationships:
Position Reports to: Reporting to the regional business head with a functional line to the HR leader for marketplace operations at center
Peer to Peer working relationship with: Hub Head Position has the below team members to support: - 1-2 HRBP - Talent Acquisition Team members - Operations Support - Admin Support
