I am sure the first question that pops up is - What does Mutterfly mean? Mutterfly is a play on Butterfly which does not go far in search of resources. So why should we? Next time you need something, don’t Mutter but Mutterfly it from people in your city.
We started our journey in June 2016, as an Android app connecting people who are looking to borrow an item with people who are looking to rent out their item. With sharing at its heart and technology as the backbone, we grew to be an experiential marketplace that lets users access premium products without buying them. At the same time, our lenders, who until now had their high-end products lying unused in a corner, started earning and in some cases recovering their cost of assets.
At Mutterfly, we are strong advocates of collaborative consumption and believe that together we can achieve more. This belief has helped us scale Mutterfly over 70,000 users in Mumbai and service A-list brands such as Amazon, BlackRock, Koovs, The Beer Cafe and lots more.
