The Human Resources Generalist will provide on the ground support to the Mumbai office. He/she will work closely with the Human Resources team in the US. Responsibilities include recruiting Mumbai staff members, ensuring company compliance with India laws and regulations and work directly with employees to resolve issues and improve team members’ overall experience. This role will contribute to the overall success of the team and to the organization and report directly to the local Office Head and Senior Director of HR.
Recruiting:
Source and attract candidates- develop strong relationships with candidates to ensure a positive experience
Maintain long term relationships with key contacts to enhance Bridgespan’s presence at target universities and organizations
Manage resume review process and interview coordination
Build and manage candidate pipeline for current openings, and proactively build pipelines for anticipated openings
Policies and Procedures:
Drive the research and implementation of HR policies and practices to ensure consistency, and allow for flexibility and adaptability
Maintain and continuously expand existing policies
Work to ensure clear communications and understanding of all processes and policies
Ensure legal compliance on all personnel and employment issues
Employee Relations:
Provide confidential and meaningful conduits for important employee feedback to be shared and acted upon.
Receive and effectively handle employee questions and concerns
Respond to employee violation of company policies and escalate when necessary
