JOB DETAILS
JOB OBJECTIVE :-
Partner effectively with Regional & Branch teams to enable achievement of business objectives through robust HR operations incl. training & development, PMS, compensation etc.
Business Planning
Understand business objectives for the region and derive priorities for the HR function, ensuring alignment with overall objectives of the function
Develop the HR budget for the region in consultation with Regional Leadership and Head - HR & Admin (including manpower, L&D, employee engagement, etc.); monitor adherence to the same
Provide Region-specific inputs to Corporate HR for design of HR systems, processes and policies
Anchor the manpower planning process for the region to support achievement of the annual business plan, through effective coordination with Regional Leadership and Branch Managers
Talent Acquisition
Work closely with Regional and Branch-level business teams to drive the recruitment and on-boarding process for all Junior Management positions across the region
Coordinate with Corporate teams in driving recruitment of critical Middle Management positions across the region
Coordinate with recruitment agencies and monitor their performance on an on-going basis
Drive adherence to recruitment and on-boarding SLAs; take corrective action in case of any deviations
Talent Management, Performance Management and Rewards
Drive timely completion of the Performance Management process across the region, ensuring adherence to Corporate guidelines on goal-setting and normalization
Maintain all compensation & benefits related systems, and drive smooth execution of payroll, reimbursements and other processes
Lead implementation of all Talent Management policies and initiatives across the region including promotion, succession planning, employee engagement and training and development
Implement training and development interventions aimed at developing employee capabilities in the organization
Employee Relations
Oversee effective implementation of Industrial Relations strategy at all units for cordial employee relations
Respond effectively to any queries from government bodies such as Department of Labour, PF Office, etc.
Drive adherence to the compliance checklists (shared by Corporate) pertaining to labour laws and statutory requirements within the regions
Guide Plant Heads/Branch Managers in managing IR related challenges faced
Undertake initiatives to promote high levels of employee engagement across the region
Administration
Coordinate with third-party vendors to drive desired quality of administrative services across the region
Monitor quality of administrative services on a periodic basis and take corrective action in case of any deviations
Operational Excellence
Drive timely documentation and preparation of all MIS reports; review and analyze variances and take required action
People Management
Provide inputs for the annual manpower plan and budget of the function
Drive a culture of performance amongst subordinates - set goals, review and manage performance, guide and counsel and provide feedback on performance so as to ensure a motivated and committed team
Develop the capabilities to take on higher responsibilities while performing the given/in-charge responsibilities at various levels within the functions
Oversee training of teams to meet the requirements of the role
