COMPANY DETAILS
Identifying your organisation’s needs and working to create and implement an efficient talent acquisition strategy to improve recruitment and business performance
· Innovate on hiring practices by using new methods or channels. Keep a lookout for talent available in the market and plan accordingly
· Source applicants through online channels, job portals and other professional networks
· Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments, and in-person interviews – if possible
· Assess candidates’ information, including C.Vs., portfolios and references
· Keep records of all materials used for recruitment, including interview notes and related paperwork, to share with key stakeholders
· Prepare paperwork, schedule, and facilitate smooth new hire onboarding process, coordinating with cross-functional departments to deliver an exceptional first-day experience
· Handle all administrative tasks for onboarding, new hire orientation, including entering data into HR information systems and auditing for accuracy and compliance
· Provide an effective and dedicated HR advisory service to employees in relation to absence and health issues, conduct and capability, grievance matters, organizational change, and all other employee-relations matters
· Be the primary backup for payroll processing, including; bi-weekly and semi-monthly updates to employee files, bonus/incentive pay, tracking vacation/sick pay
· Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, employee directory, and organizational chart, and contributes to the development of policies
· Suggest new procedures and policies to continually improve efficiency of the HR department and organization as a whole, and to improve employee experience
Skills and Qualifications
· Ability to be strategic and tactical when making decisions
· Increasing talent sourcing within an organisation by improving direct hiring
· Interpersonal and motivational skills; you should be capable of building relationships across the organisation.
· Familiarity with social media, C.V. databases, and professional networks
· Experience with full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
