JOB DETAILS              
This position will perform clerical functions including, but not limited, to the following: 1. Coordinate with managers, supervisors, HR manager, and senior management to determine specific business needs, qualifications and requirements for open positions. 2. Place advertisements of employment opportunities in several types of media outlets. 3. Conducts various recruitment efforts such as open interviews, coordinating with trade schools, creating and distributing flyers, etc. Candidate should be willing to travel within SoCal. 4. Maintain and develop candidate pipelines for tracking and networking purposes, including working with an outside and in-house recruiter if necessary. 5. Establish relationships with local job sources like Work Source, etc. 6. Recruit candidates, screen resumes, and maintain application files. 7. Conduct initial interviews of selected candidates to determine if the individual is a good fit for the position and the company prior passing qualified candidates on to interviews at department level. 8. Schedule/coordinate interviews with others in the company. 9. Conduct background/criminal, credit and reference checks on potential candidates. 10. Extending offers to candidates, explaining compensation packages, preparing and processing new hire packages, and other onboarding company requirements. 11. Learn and participate in HR functions such as filling, scanning, reviewing resumes, attending safety meetings, participating in EE issues when needed. 12. Perform other functions as may be required by and/or directed by the HR Manager and Management. The ideal candidate must have the following skills and experience: 1). Minimum Associate Degree from an accredited college or university. 2). 3 to 4 years of experience as a Recruiter. 3). Strong negotiation, sales, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills. 4). Knowledge of and experience in recruiting of individuals at all levels (on-site managers, maintenance technicians, leasing agents, admins, etc.). 5). Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. 6). Strong interpersonal skills, openness, and high standards of professionalism. 7). Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and multitask in a fast-paced environment. 8). Positive and a can-do attitude and a desire to work in a team environment. 9. Knowledge of recruitment do's and don'ts as well as processes and practices, must have recruiting experience. 10. Must be comfortable to recruit for labor related positions such as maintenance techs, plumbers, electricians, etc. 11. Must be willing to drive within Los Angeles County and conduct marketing activities related to recruitment. 12. Experience within the property management/realestate field is strongly preferred but NOT required.
