Flamingo has set up two manufacturing units conforming to world-class quality standards. First one set up at Rabale and the second is located at Taloja. Both of these facilities are WHO-GMP accredited. The Taloja facility was set up specifically for the Regulated Markets which received the prestigious UK MHRA/EUGMP (Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency) approval. R & D centre setup at Taloja has received accreditation from Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. In 2005 Flamingo received the IDMA Quality Excellence Award.
Flamingo’s primary area of expertise is the manufacture of Antibiotics (including third generation Cephalosporins) and Analgesics. Flamingo’s finished formulations also cover a wide therapeutic category namely, Antacids, AntiDiabetics, Antihistamines, Anti-Diarrheals, Cardiovascular, Gastroentrologicals, NSAID’s (including COX II inhibitors) and Sedatives.
