Job purpose :- To plan and recruit for all the 16 + corporate functions of ABMCPL and manage relations with the corporate function heads and their team members to ensure that ABMCPL is able to attract and recruit high caliber talent and to build and ensure that all employees go through the new employee orientation processes (including first 30 days transition) so that the employees are able to deliver faster.
Job context & Major challenges:-
The Recruitment Portfolio at ABMCPL is mandated to carry out recruitments (110 + in a year) for 16 Corporate Functions located across the country. This involves interfacing with the CFHs, their team members as well as external consultants.
The key challenges for this role are:
Understanding the diverse nature of each Corporate Function and their requirements and attracting specialist talent in ABMCPL-The Corporate Functions being the apex decision making body of the group, requires professionals with specialist skill set. Given the paucity of these professionals, it is a challenge to attract and also close position within the time frame and manage their career aspiration
The job holder will be required to close positions at various levels from job band 11B to job band 4 . Since the levels are different, it would require different level of interaction with different stake holders (senior to junior level candidates. Hiring Manager – would be Manager to Corp. Function Heads)
Induction - Given that the each corporate function works independently it is important that the new joinee is given a quick and on time orientation of ABMCPL and Business and also ensure the orientation processes helps to settle in faster and deliver.
Key result areas:-
· Understand current manpower number and structure of all corp functions and consolidate the requirement to seek approval as part of the manpower planning exercise.
· To independently plan, staff positions which are a) job band 4 & below based on Corp. Function requirement b) support in hiring for job band 3 and above (As required)
· Identify and develop vendors (modular sourcing and Consultant)
· Ensure that the pre-joining engagement process and induction process is complete for all new joinees.
· Manage and drive Campus Hiring to meet the manpower requirements for different functions and also manage their career.
Qualifications
· MBA/MMS (HR specialization) pass out from a good institute with 1-2 years’ experience post MBA.
· Skills – good people management, assertive communication & problem solving skills
· We would prefer if she/he has handled recruitment in the past. If not handled an HR generalist role
· Candidates based out of Mumbai are preferred
· CTC budget : 6 to 8 Lacs depending on prior work-ex & qualifications
