JOB DETAILS
Position is responsible for processing the UK and Irish payroll and ensure internal and external compliance. Additional tasks are (but not limited to): Maintaining system accuracy, support different audits, and perform controls. The right person has a natural curiosity to learn and the ability to dive deep into payroll related matters.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Utilizing and communicating with our third-party payroll vendor, our tax advisor, and other legislative institutions.
Delivering a timely and accurate payroll
Auditing payroll following standard controls and sign off on audits performed
Provide timely customer service to employees, meeting established SLAs and ensuring research and responses are thorough.
Create and submit local statutory payments and reports (e.g. P11d and P60 as an example)
Assist in tax reporting, quarter end and year end payroll activities
Coordinate interaction between payroll stake holders for updates and compliance
Initiate and support continuous improvement projects and efforts
Maintain up to date documentation and procedures
Ad Hoc reporting and other projects and tasks as assigned by manager
Reconciliation of payroll related financial accounts
Pension reconciliation and communication
Qualifications:
Four-year college degree.
A minimum of three years of UK and Irish payroll experience.
HR Workday experience is preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills – English is required
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to forge productive relationships with customers and peers
Experience handling confidential issues in a professional and discreet manner.
Excellent computer skills (MS Office).
Excellent analytical and organizational skills, strong focus, and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, self-motivated environment with minimal supervision.
