JOB DETAILS
Payroll & Offboarding processing for APAC location, ensuring accurate and timely payroll
Co-ordinate with various stakeholders for payroll & offboarding inputs/documents
Manage payroll and offboarding deliverables as per agreed payroll schedule
Interact closely with Payroll/Offboarding vendors to ensure timely and accurate service delivery
Co-ordinate with accounting and finance team to arrange payroll funds
Complete employer obligations around tax filing and other regulatory reporting.
Ensure to share payroll reports to respective stakeholders ( Finance, HR etc)
Lead Tax Year-end activities to meet regulatory timelines
Good communication and presentation skills, verbal and written
Escalate issues in a timely and effective manner
Handling External and Internal Audits
People Management
Ownership of process, knowledge documents, and team performance and development
Work in partnership with other functional teams & location to meet organizational objective
Preparation of metrics of the team - internal and vendor
Lead in process training to develop the team and create effective back ups
Lead / support Performance Management and Team Development related responsibilities
Identify / lead / encourage process improvement opportunities
Should be flexible to adapt changes and works well in teams
Strong execution skills
Strong in documentation oriented approach
Essential Skills & Experience -
Graduate / Postgraduate with 7-10 years of overall experience, with at least 5+ years in Payroll functional area
Strong knowledge of end-to-end Payroll processes, Tax and Employment Laws and Payroll Accounting
Be a self-motivated and result-oriented individual with an ability and experience to manage, motivate and lead teams of skilled staff consistently, while taking equitable and fair decisions in leadership
Very strong calculation / analytical skills
Excellent organization & time management skills. Should exercise good judgment in prioritizing deliverables for oneself and team
Have strong customer focus (internal employee)
Vendor management experience
Preferred Skills & Experience -
Payroll accounting knowledge
Experience of working on SAP Payroll System and PeopleSoft HR system
