JOB DETAILS              
Purpose of the Role: Drive local delivery of the annual People Cycle, including Performance Management, Compensation, Training and Development. Provide tactical and operational guidance, direction, coaching and advice to leaders on People matters. Play the focal role as part of People team to setting and executing the effective people strategy and operating model at the terminal / function. Key Responsibilities: Driving People agenda As part of terminal / function People Business Partnering team, act as leaders’ point of contact for key People activities within the terminal / function and provide tactical and operational guidance, direction, coaching and advice to country leaders on all People activities Act as a sparring partner and build strong relationships with supported leaders and their teams, providing sparing and advice on people matters Support leaders in managing people performance cases and recommend action plans Work with leaders on corporate/COE driven initiatives and programs, i.e., nominations for Star Awards Closely coordinate with Regional EEO and partner with wider People community on support needed for annual People cycle Deliver trainings and workshops for local leadership teams and various employees related to the people calendar / strategy Coordinate and support managers on the People core processes (Objectives Setting, Engagement, Performance Management, etc.) Advise leaders on team org. design to ensure fit with business needs, including role design, job levelling, and organization shape. Ensure conversations with leaders and People Business Partnering are data-driven; Support People budgeting and forecasting process, as relevant Own People Analytics / people VMS in a location and address the improvement areas with the leaders and local management in cooperation with terminal/function People team Monitor exit interview trends and address opportunities for improvement Participate in on-site recruitment where needed and coordinate and monitor employee activities required on site, i.e., onboarding, training sessions People process and continuous improvement. Drive the local delivery of the annual HR Cycle across all process areas and exercise end-to-end ownership on people delivery through the People team Work closely with Head of People business Partnering on strategic and operational People aspects of the Terminal/ Function. Work effectively with the entire regional EEO on day-to-day delivery of people processes as well as to resolve complex cases Stay up to date with local employment law landscape to ensure local compliance Proactively evaluate, advise on, and ensure updates are made to local (link to global documentation maintained centrally) People policies, procedures, documents; actively participate in People processes improvement projects and People audits Give input to CoEs on training and/or improvement needs. Looking for an overall experience of 7-8yrs+ in into HR Business Partnership role. Note: This location is based in Navi Mumbai i.e., JNPT, Nhava Sheva Port.
