Role purpose
The role is to work directly with employees, manage the overall HR operations to assist the partnership and provide support to all line managers.
Knowledge & Experience
Must have a high degree of operational execution knowledge as a HR specialist or HR Operations
Must have strong proficiency in the functional use of HRIS like Oracle Fusion, Success Factors, Workday, Taleo,etc
Excellent communication skills dealing with employees on every level.
Must have a good understand of the legalities of Labour law, employee benefits, compensation structure
Unquestioned integrity and experience, confidence and stature to effectively address sensitive HR issues
Should have experience of working in a global organization and global/regional assignments
Experience in policy formulation and process improvement projects
Qualifications
Post graduate with specialization in HR is preferred (MBA or PGDBA).
Key Accountabilities
Functional Responsibility:
Requires in-depth understanding of how own area integrates within the organization sub-function and basic commercial awareness. Proposes improvements to processes. Requires good analytical skills as well as judgment based on the analysis of qualitative information. Act as a lead, coordinating and facilitating the work of others but may or may not be responsible for their performance & development Requires developed communication and diplomacy skills. Receives guidance and oversight from manager.
Impact on Organization: The impact of the job is on a work area such that the work and performance of all teams within the area will be directly affected by the performance of the job, which will eventually impact the overall performance and effectiveness of the organization sub-function. The job also has an impact by influencing decisions through advice, counsel or facilitating services to others in area of specialization.
Competencies Required:
Leadership: Responsible for providing training to members of the team, monitoring the quantity and quality of the work in progress, coaching and mentoring employees on performance.
Problem Solving: Uses judgment based on practice and precedence. This requires the ability to assess the validity and applicability of previous or similar experiences and evaluate options under circumstances that are not covered by procedures.
Interpersonal Skills: Information exchange requiring tact and diplomacy. Must be able to exchange ideas and information effectively in a concise and logical way. Be sensitive to audience diversity and while handling sensitive issues.
Job Functional Knowledge: In-depth understanding of concepts and principles in own discipline and a basic knowledge of these elements in other disciplines. Must be able to apply and consolidate specialist skills and knowledge and ensure essential procedures are followed. Should help to define the standards and specifications around which others will operate.
Business Expertise: Good understanding and business acumen of how the team integrates with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area.
