JOB DETAILS
-Effectively review and process HR service requests and transactions, such as: personnel data, pay data, position data changes, performing mass data changes as the situations arise etc.
-Provide support to the Talent Acquisition COE on staffing processes including offer generation, background screening etc.
-Provide first line customer service support for Varian employees and people managers on wide ranging HR related queries
-Successfully handle most routine HR issues, escalate issues that cannot be resolved to second level support or COEs
-Compile metrics that can be used to evaluate the effectiveness of Human Resource policies, procedures and processes
-Plan and organize work in partnership with Shared Services team so the Service Level Agreement objectives are realized
-Contribute ideas and actions towards the continuous improvement of Human Resources processes within area of influence
-Maintain positive work relationships with other members of Varian team, communicate effectively and ensure excellent service delivery
-Maintain full knowledge and understanding of legal requirements and best practices for Human Resources
-Perform responsibilities in full compliance with standards, policies and procedures
