Roles and responsibilities
Minimum 8 years of demonstratable experience in Human Resources experience with 5 years supervisory experience
Degree in Human Resource Management or related certifications
Demonstrable experience in recruitment, HRIS and creating of policies and procedures
Ability to motivate colleagues, acting as the go-to person to guide performance
Ability to work with minimal supervision and take initiative in pursuing departmental responsibilities.
Ability to perform complex research work.
Excellent problem solver with good judgement and decision-making skills with the ability to assess a situation and calmly make an informed decision as to the most appropriate actions
Strong organizational and admin skills
Experience in managing HR projects e.g. implementation of performance management systems, designing and creating an Employee Handbook, policies, managing staff, surveys or investigations.
Familiarity with the application of employment law in the workplace
Must be highly skilled in the use of Excel and Word, with a basic knowledge of PowerPoint and outlook.
Flexibility regarding working hours which will include evening, overnight and weekends
Fluency in written and spoken English with good interpersonal skills.
