Payroll Manager Job Responsibilities: Pays employees and compiles payroll information by managing payroll preparation; completing reports; maintaining records. Payroll Manager Job Duties: Maintains payroll information by designing systems; directing the collection, calculation, and entering of data. Updates payroll records by reviewing and approving changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job titles, and department/ division transfers. Pays employees by directing the production and issuance of pay cheques or electronic transfers to bank accounts. Prepares reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and non taxable wages. Determines payroll liabilities by approving the calculation of employee federal and state income and social security taxes, and employer's social security, unemployment, and workers compensation payments. Balances the payroll accounts by resolving payroll discrepancies. Maintains payroll guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures. Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions. Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results. Coordinate for payroll data from multiple sites Coordinate for bank account opening & activation Coordinate for biometric installation Maintains and extract payroll from biometric & VSM excellence in MS office work MW impact and implement minimum wages revision for TN/ Kerala & Pondy issuance of appointment order / relieving order & experience certificate for FTC coordinate with HO for Bonus, Gratuity, & F&F settlements completion of regular new joining formalities and coordinate with HO for appointment order coordinate for exit formalities for regular and get relieving order from HO Provides Employee code for all three entity and maintains a track record Sound knowledge in Income tax calculation and returns filing Provide data for audit and HRMIS Address queries on payroll To conduct periodical payroll audit at sites To provide transfer orders Sound statutory knowledge Coordinating with business and HR head for approval Coordinate with C&B for any payroll activities and communicate to sites immediately Follow time line and send attendance, leave details, F&F details and all other payroll inputs to C&B on time. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Payroll Manager Skills and Qualifications: Managing Processes, People Management, Data Entry Management, Reporting Skills, Compensation and Wage Structure, Benefits Administration, Worker Compensation, Employment Law, Developing Standards, Financial Skills, Accounting Should have completed MBA with Min of 5 years experience in Payroll Management Should be good in Advanced excel with analytical skill Need to be assertive towards adaptable to new technology and techniques.
