JOB DETAILS              
Purpose of Position: Responsible as HR Business Partner, to lead and provide support to core HR functions, including Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Talent Management & Succession, HRIS & Data Management, Compliance & Integrity, Employee/Industrial Relations and Organizational internal communication. This role supports the India KaVo Kerr and Ormco teams, and as required, will also be assigned regional People Programs. Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Business Partnering Works closely with India Country Manager and his/her direct reports to establish the HR / talent action plans, in support of the business Act as contact point for India associates in relation to all HR matters, related to policy, procedures, processes, career, performance/development and benefits programs. Keep up to date with HR market practices and drive for continuous improvement. Resource Management & Talent Acquisition Partner leaders to plan for manpower needs, analysis of manpower statistics and staff movement/turnover rate etc. Drive end to end recruiting actions to attract and hire talent in line with the growth headcount plans. Works closely with APAC Talent Acquisition manager to support and/or implement any regional objectives, reporting and initiatives, as necessary. Manage the new hire process (induction, track probationary completion and employment confirmation) Conduct orientation and facilitate immersion of new hires. Support and ensure smooth transition for internal fill/transfer. Assist with all relocations/secondment. Compensation & Benefits Management Oversee all local policy, compensation and benefit programs to ensure competitive programs, alignment to Danaher companies and local compliance. Analyze, design & implement compensation & benefit programs to ensure the total reward system remains competitive in the local market. Participate in compensation & benefits survey, job benchmarking exercise and industry trends analysis, as required. Interface with Payroll vendor – monthly payroll, claims, tax reporting. Negotiate rates and benefits for Group Insurance, Workmen Comp, Travel Insurance, etc. Liaise with insurance vendor on outpatient/specialist/ inpatient medical claims i.e. administer enrolment/ withdrawal of benefits and insurance program for new hires/ current employees and leavers. Talent & Performance Management Drive Performance and Development management process and ensure that reviews and evaluations are carried out in an effective and timely manner. Co-ordinate the bi-yearly performance review & calibration exercise Co-ordinate the bi-yearly talent review and succession planning discussion with leaders Guide leaders on performance management, coaching, performance & development improvement processes. Recommend & implement various talent attraction, retention & engagement programs to assist the company to attain employer of choice status. Change Management & Organizational Development Advice, support and guidance to leaders on effective human resource management practices and counselling. Provide coaching to business leaders and associates as part of development. Recommend and implement appropriate organizational development & change management measures. Employee Relations & Engagement Organize regular employee communication, feedback, skip level and focus group meeting. Work with global/regional HR to roll out Annual Engagement Survey according to stated timelines. Analyze employee survey reports, facilitate and assist leaders to communicate results and roll out action plans to bridge the gap. Effective management of labor relations and deal with various legal litigation matters as necessary. HR Policy & Procedures and Operations Periodically review employee handbook to ensure that the HR policy & procedures are up to date. Off-boarding: exit paperwork, conduct exit interviews. Local champion for Workday (Employee Database System), Taleo (Employee Recruitment Database System). Qualifications Requirements: Degree holder, with about 8-10 years of MNC working experience in HR with good foundations in HRM (recruitment, HR operations, performance management), preferably from the healthcare/life science industry of a commercial setting (sales & distribution). Both oral and written English skills must be good, and the candidate should be conversant with HRIS systems and be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Travel requirement for this role is low Possess highest standards of integrity and discretion. Hands-on, detail-oriented and meticulous. Proactive, self-driven, good analytical and outstanding problem-solving skills. Able to work independently as well as in a team. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Courage and influence without authority with regards to peer relationships. Build strong and effective partnership with country leadership and regional HR team. Able to ensure compliance of all regulations across the business.
