Hiring
- Work with management for organisation design
- Recommend best hiring practices
- Provide plans to attract, onboard, develop and retain talent.
- Must be able to independently write Job Descriptions, Use Job portals / Linkedin to attract talent and if necessary head hunt them from desired organisations.
- Do the first round of interviews and set up subsequent rounds.
- Create a pool of desired to employed talent and create enough backups and live conversations with desired profiles.
- Prepare tests and administer them to shortlisted candidates.
- Must be able to conduct background checks, prepare offer letters and conduct onboarding & induction.
- Pre joining medical tests for fitment.
- Establish relations with educational institutes to get a steady stream of interns and nurture talent.
L&D
- Prepare a learning and development program for each employee , roll out & monitor.
- Assist functional heads on training needs for team members.
Engagement
- Prepare an engagement calendar for employees to keep them motivated.
- Be able to work with, counsel employees and motivate them to enhance productivity and performance.
- Ensure team building and bonding.
- Prepare for team off-sites ( post pandemic ) and team activities digitally ( during pandemic )
Appraisals & Separation
- Prepare appraisal forms, conduct appraisals with reporting managers.
- Conduct exit interviews, ESAT surveys,
Routine & administrative
- Be able to maintain attendance, work sheets & time / attendance tracking for Hybrid employees , and prepare payroll.
- Maintain personnel files,
- Be able to write down policies and guidelines for staff.
- Do salary benchmark surveys for existing roles.
- Suggest & implement ideas for increasing employee productivity.
- Monitor employee activity, behaviour at the workplace. In case of violation - follow procedure to remedy or if required separation.
- Resolve employee conflicts or conflict of interest. Employee grievances resolution.
- Responsible for asset issuance and recoveries.
- Responsible for compliance with the law in terms of labour laws, pf, medical.
- Maintain relationships with vendors providing workplace services.
- Oversee the Functioning of Office locations and guest houses including handyman, repairs & maintenance.
Other tasks
- This role will also have 20% admin / secretarial work of coordination for general business that includes employee travel, reimbursements, infrastructure organisation and coordination with vendors or venues for general business.
Skills & Experience
Proven working experience as HR Manager or other HR Executive
People oriented and results driven
Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics
Knowledge of HR systems and databases
Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
Degree in Human Resources or related field
