Job Title : Manager Human Resources
Department : Human Resources
Reporting To : General Manager – Human Resources.
Location : Mumbai.
Key Responsibilities
You perform search for candidates, place vacancy announcements, conduct interviews with
applicants, asses and test candidates.
You prepare and review work contracts; addendums and all other related documents.
You perform and recruit in compliance with Company policy and requirements.
You draft and manage job descriptions.
You develop, prepare and manage staff evaluation.
You prepare reports as required by the Management.
You regularly update staff list and report about staff changes.
You update organizational chart and structure of the Company.
You develop, update of employee handbook and internal corporate rules and other internal HR
procedures as necessary.
You participate in Agency organizational development in terms of training and selection and sourcing
of external consultants / companies to perform such trainings.
You prepare staff budget.
You participate in preparation of salary reviews and increases.
You manage and follow up: promotions, salary increase, career development, organizational changes,
and disciplinary actions.
You plan and follow up vacations, holidays, and schedules of staff working during holidays /days off.
You manage and provide advice on any other matter in relation to staff management such as but not
limited to: staff dismissal, transfers, compensation and similar.
You ensure company legal compliance to labor laws/regulations in terms of HR.
You provide support in visa and immigration related matters as required.
Requirements And Specific Skills:
Should have a Masters degree or a University level diploma in HR.
You have at least 8 +years of professional experience in Human Resources Management; experience
in maritime or shipping environment would be an asset.
Your level of English is excellent, and you are computer literate.
You possess leadership, management and communication skills, you are rigorous, autonomous, team
player, proactive and initiative taker
