Roles and Responsibilities
Recruitment, Retention, Selection & Induction:
Identification of positions, related to recruitment & selection from time to time
Develop recruitment & retention strategies with line managers and staying most current with the talent and cost of employment
Inducting new joiners on weekly basis and also impart training on systems usage
Creating selection, recruitment and induction manual covering policy and procedures, designed to fit companys values & mission
Compensation Review & Standardization:
Develop a compensation strategy which is department specific with overall budgetary alignment (cost of employment) & educate Sr. Management and hiring managers with help of corporate HR / CEO on plans, long term and short term
Actively participate from time to time in benchmarking surveys for the organization
Compensation plans for individuals must have universal flexibility to make relocation of people smooth, develop a compensation manual for transfers which is transparent and user friendly
Performance Management System:
Review existing system and suggest changes where necessary, organize appraisal workshop so as to train appraisers in the appraisal process to ensure proper performance evaluation
Plan for implementation of appraisal system based on goals and ensure training of all the executives in goal setting and goals review exercise
Assist divisional / profit centre / sectional heads in conducting performance reviews
Plan and develop appropriate linkages between rewards system and performance
Develop linkages in appraisal for identifying training and development needs, career planning, potential reviews and assessment
PMS to suit department specific sensitivities and a global career planning documents to be aligned with individual development plans of all the employees within the vertical, to facilitate talent sharing and making the organization powerful
Organizational Development:
Assist in assessing organizational climate & plan for appropriate changes so as to develop core competencies in the organization
Conduct periodic surveys in the organization to get feedback from employees regarding their perception on companys policies & practices, ascertain attitudes, morale & motivation
Assist in developing a culture that facilitates performance
Develop organization structures for each location after understanding the business processes and the current HR Process designed by you and make the location efficient and cost effective
Do manpower planning for each location based on diagnostics studies
Training and Development:
Master plans for training and development in co-ordination with our corporate L&D team for people based on needs analysis and career opportunities within organization
Organizing / executing training workshops, seminars in house and institutional etc. for employees
Being available for counselling and coaching / guidance to people
Generalist activities:
Develop master plans on organization capability and OD intervention models specific to current and long term needs
Work closely with IT people and convert policy manual, other SOPs and HR routine service interactive
Develop & support a major change management plan by leveraging your employee relationship skills and the bonding created by you, which will work as an engine to drive the cultural formation
Keep abreast with HR Technology & HRMS developments required for business results
Build and develop the HR organization required for the above deliverables
Understanding people's current way of working and culture at different locations and align with them so they desire the need for HR help from you
Desired Candidate Profile
Should be innovative and flexible
Should have good communication skills
Should be well versed with software skills (Excel, Powerpoint)
Good stakeholder management skills and employee oriented attitude
