Position Overview - As Head of Employee Relations, responsible for developing and executing employee relations strategy to enhance organizational capability and productivity. Play key role in building a high performance culture in the organization. - - As Plant HR Head of Roha site, partner with business for achieving of organizational goals. - - Member of the HR Leadership team. RESPONSIBILITIES Part I : Head Employee Relations Creating and implementing employee relations strategy delivering value to the organization. Develop and execute Employee Relations strategy aligned with business objectives. Helping the business make right decisions by aligning people and business strategies. Proactively identify and address issues in the business landscape that have employee relations issues in collaboration with stakeholders. Provide leadership to Employee Relations function of Unichem businesses in India. Do risk analysis and work out mitigation strategies in the area of Employee Relations to achieve business results. Enhance organizations capability to respond progressively on emerging Employee Relations requirements by establishing governance methods, grievance process, training and communication to line managers. Partner with legal department to fine tune legal strategy on key Employee Relations issues proactively to ensure legal safety of the company. To also develop labour compliance process and ensure its execution through Business HR. Maintain harmonious Employee Relations in field and plants. Ensure statutory compliances. Keeping abreast of changes in labour laws and general environment and proactively manage/ mitigate its implication on organization. Support the goal of creating a high performance organization by supporting managers on managing poor performance. Liaison with government agencies. Represent organization at various forums on labour law related matters. Part II : Plant HR Head Roha Site Manpower planning & talent acquisition. Co-ordinate with business and implement developmental interventions. Explore various ideas on productivity by working closely with line managers. Enable managers at various stages of Goal setting / Performance Appraisal & monitor progress. Provide proactive consultation to people managers on employee relation activities. Advise them on ER issues like disciplinary, performance management etc. To ensure statutory & process compliance. Ensure compliance with all applicable statutory laws like filing of all statutory returns to relevant authorities, responding to their queries and notices. Managing Union representatives and issues. Responsible for the governance of employee policies. Provide advice and counsel managers and employees on a broad range of workplace issues. Manage key processes, including on and off-boarding, payroll and other transactions throughout the employee lifecycle. Provide direction & guidance to the HR team at Roha. Others Being a role model in living the organizational values. Research latest best practices in areas of employee relations and keep abreast of latest trends to serve as a subject matter expert and guide organization on critical people issues. As member of the HR Leadership team play a key role in making Unichem an employer of choice in the industry.
