- Responsible for managing diverse workforce complexities - from recruitment to development and defining career growth paths
- Responsible for strategic management of the organizational goals
Responsibilities :
- Gauging needs of the organizations human resource requirements, and accordingly putting a plan of action to fulfill those needs
- Plan and devise strategic campaigns and guidelines for recruiting suitable candidates on an ongoing basis
- Creating a sophisticated employer value proposition pitch to attract high quality talent
- Work as a mediator between company and candidate to create win-win compensation structures
- Designing compensation packages and employee programs such as flexible work times, paternity leave, extended holidays, telecommuting in addition to standard bonuses and holiday plans
- Designing the training plan and content for employees across the different functions and levels in the organisation; including regular assessment and grading plan
- Ensuring alignment of employees professional development goals
- Creating the appraisal process for the employees; defining the frequency of appraisals and feedback mechanism
- Maintaining the work culture and a transparent, healthy and safe environment to work in
- Ensure that the HR service maintains and meets the policies, practices and procedures required to achieve and maintain externally accredited quality standards
Work experience and Education :
- An appropriate HR related qualification i.e. Masters in Personnel and Development with atleast 9 years of experience
Skills & Competencies required :
- Experience preferably in a legal or professional services environment
- Awareness of latest developments within employment legislation
- Evidence of interest in, and commitment to, the success of the firm
- Understanding of and commitment of values and ethos
- Excellent communication both written and verbal
- Confident individual with a proactive attitude
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating professionalism in all dealings
- A self starter, able to demonstrate high levels of initiative and motivation, but also work closely with other team members and displaying trust and loyalty
- Proven ability to deal with confidential matters and with discretion
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word and HR database skills
- Excellent, proven organisational skills
