Job description
The key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Recruitment process
Take charge of hiring, drafting job descriptions in consultation with line managers
Screen candidates and conduct initial rounds of interview
Handle terminations and resignations, along with work handovers and processing final payouts.
Conduct comprehensive exit interviews to identify trends and process relevant feedback
HR Transactions
Directing and overseeing onboarding and induction process with knowledge about the industry, company and relevant functions in the organization
Facilitate necessary updates to the various health plans, benefits, retirement plans, etc
Work in coordination with all functional heads and ensure that all administrative processes and protocols are followed.
Communicate important updates to all employees regarding all stages of compensation planning, performance management and appraisal process.
Employee Relations
Create, Implement, Manage all workplace policy in accordance to Central and Local laws. Compliance is key.
Workplace policies include: leave policy, absence records with approvals, sexual harassment, etc
Create, Implement, Manage workplace incentives for proper growth of company. Recognition of high achievement, work anniversary, benefits, etc
Implement formal grievance policy and resolve informal grievances and coordinate appropriate escalation when needed to appropriate authority.
Ensure healthy employee relations and undertake activities to propagate a healthy work environment for employees. Team building activities such as retreats, dinners, etc
Celebrations including: work anniversary, birthdays, retirements, promotions
Learning and Organisation Development
Organize training sessions and workshops, according to the needs specified by line/functional managers
Data/Reporting and Payroll management
Maintain records of salary reimbursements, Gratuity working for monthly accruals
PF, P Tax and withholding Tax compliance
Be updated with the local tax and payroll regulations
Ensure compliance with shops and establishment Act, Labour welfare, etc as applicable to States in which office is located
Facilitate update/renewal of medical insurance (if applicable)
Others
The individual may be required to carry out any other duties and ad hoc projects which are within the scope and purpose of the job.
Desired Candidate Profile
Sound knowledge and understanding of India labour law and ability to keep up with changes in the law
Recruitment experience;
Proven experience of providing HR advice and guidance to Managers;
Proven experience of effective relationship building within different businesses;
Payroll and administration experience;
Experience of working in a fast paced environment
Skills And Abilities
EXCCELLENT Communications skills, both written and verbal.
Emotional intelligence, people skills and good interpersonal skills
Planning and objection handling- be a people advocate and understanding employees perspective
Advisory skills and business understanding- connect business issues back to HR
Be open to change, digital savvy and consultative
Team management and trade management
Able to juggle and prioritize a varied workload, often working to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining appropriate service levels.
Able to exercise discretion and good judgment while navigating sensitive information
Ability to develop and maintain systems to make processes more efficient;
Business / commercial awareness
A competent user of Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Database Management.
Experience of using and maintaining a computerized HR database; (if applicable)
