Job description 1HR - Executive (HRE) Role Details: Reports to: Senior Manager HR & Admin (SMHRA) Responsible for: The HRE will assist with HR & Admin operations to implement BI HR & Admin Strategies. Location: Brooke India Head Quarters NOIDA 62 with occasional travel within the country Employment Type: The position shall be on a Fixed-Term Contract (FTC) for one year after which it may be considered for further extension for another two years and beyond based on your performance and organizational requirements, as decided by the management. About Brooke Brooke is an international animal welfare charity working to improve the lives of working horses, donkeys, mules and the people who depend on them. We reach over 2 million working animals across Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East. Our staff include vets, animal welfare experts and advocacy and development specialists. Brooke India (BI) works for the welfare and health of working equines and the development of community that owns them. It has operations in 12 States & Union Territories and implements its programme directly. Our aim is to equip local people with the knowledge and skills to give their horse, donkey or mule a better life. Purpose of the Role: The HRE will assist with HR & Admin in operations; maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource data, files, records, information and documentation. They will assist with the hiring process, run new employee orientations and enable training interventions in addition to other HR duties and tasks. HRE will be involved in implementing BI OD interventions with Senior Programme Leader People & Learning, which will involve and not be limited to Job Role documentation, Employee Performance Management, BI Capability building and Employee Competency building interventions. Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Perform administrative work, including scheduling, maintaining files and sorting mail for the Human Resources department Maintaining employee data and employee records. Enter employment data into computer database Compiling and updating employee records (hard and soft copies) Track and update employee leaves of absence Assist with the hiring process, including submitting job postings online and scheduling candidate interviews Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records. Coordinate logistics for new hire orientations and employee training sessions Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, leaves, etc) Assist in preparation of monthly PF and ESIC challans for submission in consultation finance team. Assist in preparation and submission of monthly/quarterly/bi-yearly/yearly LWF and PT contribution. Organise and update personal details of employees for Mediclaim / Accidental Insurance Policy with the Insurance Company regularly Maintaining records related to grievances, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions Assist in organizing workshops, seminars, events etc. Support all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests. HRE will be involved in implementing BI OD interventions with SPLPL which will involve and not be limited to Job Role documentation, Employee Performance Management, BI Capability building and Employee Competency building interventions Perform such additional tasks as may be requested from time to time by the SMHRA/SPLPL/HOPS/CEO. Qualification and Experience Essential 1. BBA/BBM/BTech with minimum two year experience* or Any regular Bachelor's degree with 4 years experience related to HR/Office administration 2. Knowledge of MS Office Suite, Outlook software with good skills in Word, Excel and Power Point 3, Knowledge of payroll management, human resource information system (HRIS), and similar ERP solutions 4. Have love for animals and be willing to work for their welfare Desirable 1. Any MBA or BBA/BBM/PG diploma in HR 2. Experience working in an INGO/NGO Skills and Abilities Essential 1. HR Skill sets 2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English & Hindi 3. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy Desirable 1. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Remuneration Salary Package: Based on qualification and experience, the approximate CTC shall be in the range of INR 4.9 5.4 lakhs per annum. Brooke India observes statutory provision of Employees Provident Fund, Gratuity, etc as per eligibility. There are provisions for Personal Accident Insurance and Medical insurance/Employees' State Insurance as per eligibility and other benefits which are over and above the Salary Package.
