Upwards Fintech is hiring an HR manager for our Andheri East, Mumbai office.
Company Profile:
Upwards provides personal loans of up to Rs. 50,000 to salaried individuals across India. We aim to empower India’s growing middle class with the financial means and knowledge to achieve their dreams.
Responsibilities and Duties
1. Develop and implement company policies
2. Oversee recruitment and payroll
3. Develop and implement employee benefits/plans
4. Direct all training procedures for new employees
5. Monitor employee progress and promote a positive, productive and open work environment
6. Regularly meet with employees for progress reviews, assessments, and grievances
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate must possess the following:
1. Strong interpersonal skills
2. Basic knowhow of expense management and taxation
3. Attentive listener; understanding, empathetic, and personable
4. Experienced in mediation & conflict resolution processes, stress management skills and ability to make important decisions under pressure
5. Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, business administration, finance, or related field
