Full job description Sewamo is looking to onboard a Human Resources (HR) Executive who would play a pivotal role within our organization responsible for overseeing various aspects of the human resources function. The Primary role of the personnel would be to recruit, train and manage payroll of employees. Freshers are welcome to apply. Job Summary: Responsibilities: Employee Recruitment and Selection: Manage the recruitment process, including job posting, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees. Employee Relations: Handle employee inquiries, concerns, and conflicts, and work to maintain a positive work environment. Performance Management: Administer performance appraisal processes, provide feedback, and assist in setting performance goals and improvement plans. Training and Development: Identify training needs, organize training programs, and support employee development initiatives. Compensation and Benefits: Administer compensation and benefits programs, including salary reviews, bonuses, and benefits enrollment. HR Policy and Compliance: Develop and enforce HR policies, procedures, and practices in compliance with labor laws and company policies. Employee Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files and HR databases. Labor Relations: Collaborate with labor unions (if applicable) and manage collective bargaining agreements and negotiations. HR Reporting: Generate and analyze HR data and metrics to provide insights and support data-driven decision-making. Conflict Resolution: Mediate and resolve employee conflicts and issues, promoting a harmonious workplace. Termination and Offboarding: Manage employee separations, including exit interviews and offboarding processes. Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment. Qualifications: Education: A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is typically required. Some organizations may prefer or require a master's degree in HR or a related discipline. Experience: Several years of experience in HR roles, with progressive responsibility, and ideally some experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity. Knowledge of Employment Laws: Strong understanding of labor laws and regulations, with the ability to ensure compliance. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective employee communication and documentation. Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills to manage employee relations effectively. Attention to Detail: Precise record-keeping and attention to detail in HR processes and documentation. Adaptability: The ability to adapt to changing HR trends and evolving business needs. Problem-Solving: Effective problem-solving skills to address HR issues and challenges as they arise. Ethical Conduct: High ethical standards and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. HR Software: Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and other HR-related software. An HR Manager is essential for maintaining a well-functioning and compliant HR department within an organization. They are responsible for various HR functions, ensuring that the workforce is effectively managed, and HR practices align with the company's goals and legal requirements.
