Job description
1. Recruitment and Staffing:
- Coordinate the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making hiring recommendations.
- Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and ensure timely fulfillment of positions.
2. On boarding and Orientation:
- Facilitate the on boarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
- Conduct orientation programs to familiarize new employees with company policies, culture, and procedures.
3. Employee Relations:
- Act as a liaison between employees and management, addressing concerns, and promoting a positive work environment.
- Implement and enforce HR policies and procedures.
4. Performance Management:
- Support the performance appraisal process by assisting in goal setting, conducting performance reviews, and identifying development opportunities.
- Provide guidance on performance improvement plans as needed.
5. Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and coordinate training programs for employees.
- Promote continuous learning and development to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
6. Employee Engagement:
- Organize and participate in employee engagement initiatives, such as team-building activities, events, and recognition programs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
7. Benefits Administration:
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
- Address employee queries related to benefits and facilitate open enrollment processes.
8. HR Metrics and Reporting:
- Compile and analyze HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.
- Prepare regular reports for management on key HR performance indicators.
9. Compliance and Legal:
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Handle employee relations issues and legal matters in collaboration with legal counsel.
10. Conflict Resolution:
- Mediate conflicts between employees and provide guidance on conflict resolution.
- Implement strategies to maintain a positive and harmonious work environment.
