Job description
Reporting to Senior Leadership the roles & responsibilities will include :
Working with the leadership to manage the plant and office HR & IR activities
Employee Relations:
Ensure that all relevant labor laws & regulations are respected and complied with at the plant.
Employee Engagement:
Planning and celebrating of various types of employee engagement programs, Celebration of Birthday & various festivals.
Welfare, Canteen, Security:
Oversee that welfare activities are conducted as per calendar within cost
Uniform, PPE etc. make necessary and timely arrangements.
Discipline & Dispute handling:
Review performance and actual labour costs when required.
HR- IR & Office Administration:
Working with Line Managers/ Supervisorand Union Leaders to handle employee complaints, settle disputes and resolve grievances.
Disciplinary actions for absenteeism and other misconduct.
HR MIS report (Like Departments / Lines / wise Salary cost, Manpower etc.
Preparing various letters like Absenteeism Notices, Warning Letters, Show-causes etc.
Maintaining & updating Employees Personal Records & Files if required.
Plan and provide adequate health and safety measures in the factory premises
Attendance & Payroll:
Operating & Monitoring Payroll & Attendance Software System.
Tracking Attendance, absenteeism (late coming, early going, Gate passes etc).
Leave Management Leave Calculation, Encashment, Updating.
Updating employees Master Data in Payroll & Attendance System.
Correction entries with respect to employee attendance. (Leave, Weekly off C-Off & OT).
Preparing salary and Managing payroll operations
Monthly Salary Expenses, Full & Final & etc.
Contract Labors/ Security Management:
Liasioning /coordination with contractors and ensuring required documents such as Attendance, Payments, statutory returns & etc.
Checking of Contractors bills and ensures all related documents and coordination with accounts for release of payment.
Manpower Planning/ arrangement, Contract Employee deployment, & etc.
Ensure overall security arrangements and its related works & issues.
Recruitment:
Managing recruitment life cycle for sourcing the best talent from diverse sources after identification of manpower requirements.
Conducting telephone and personal interviews in coordination with departmental heads.
Preparing various letters like Offer, Appointment, Employment Contract, Confirmation, Increment, and Transfer letters.
Completing joining Formalities like Account Opening, Induction of new entrants & etc.
Keeping track of Confirmation, Appraisals, and Increments of employees.
Respond to internal and external HR related enquiries and provide assistance
Coordinating with the management/leadership team
Ensure that HR activities assigned are performed as per the existing company HR policies
and norms.
Ensure active participation in HR initiatives to achieve organizational goals.
Provide support to management and employees on HR related issues.
Education
Bachelors degree or MBA in Human Resource Management or related field with 1+ years of experience
Knowledge & Experience
Excellent knowledge and understanding of the HR cycle.
Hands on experience in MS Word/Excel
Ability to work in a Dynamic environment.
Effective Communication Skill
Exceptional active listening skills
Ability to work as a part of a team/ individually.
Ability to manage time efficiently.
Strong work ethics.
