Job description
Develop job descriptions and specifications for various positions.
Conduct recruitment and selection processes to hire skilled labor, including construction workers, engineers, project managers, and administrative staff.
Coordinate with recruitment agencies, job fairs, and online platforms to attract talent.
Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they complete necessary paperwork and safety training.
Conduct orientation programs to familiarize new employees with company policies, safety regulations, and project-specific requirements.
Identify training needs for construction employees and provide or arrange relevant training programs.
Monitor the progress of employee training and certifications, especially in areas like safety protocols and equipment operation.
Promote continuous learning and skill development within the construction workforce.
Ensure that construction projects comply with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to reduce workplace accidents and injuries.
Handle workers' compensation claims and related documentation.
Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and grievance handling.
Foster a positive work environment and promote team collaboration among construction workers and staff.
Administer employee compensation and benefits programs, including payroll processing.
Monitor prevailing wage requirements and ensure compliance for government contracts.
Manage benefits enrollment and resolve benefits-related inquiries.
Work with labor unions and unionized workers, if applicable, to negotiate and administer labor contracts.
Address labor disputes and facilitate collective bargaining processes.
Maintain accurate employee records, including personnel files, training certifications, and performance evaluations.
Prepare sub Contractor Paysheets.
Submit HR Compliance to the client.
Get HR Compliance cleared.
Liaison with labour officer.
Maintain required registers and formats for statutory compliance.
Labour Complaints.
