Job description Role & responsibilities Calculate and process accurate salaries, wages, and overtime payments for employees in the infrastructure department. Ensure timely and accurate adjustments for bonuses, incentives, and other compensation-related components. Handle deductions for taxes, social security, benefits, and other payroll-related items. Manage employee benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and any other benefits offered to infrastructure employees. Enroll new employees in benefit programs and ensure accurate deductions and contributions. Handle employee queries related to benefits and assist with problem-solving. Oversee the tracking of attendance, leave, and time-off requests for infrastructure employees. Ensure accurate recording of work hours, including regular hours, overtime, and shift differentials. Stay updated with relevant labor laws, tax regulations, and industry-specific regulations that impact payroll for infrastructure roles. Ensure accurate tax withholding and reporting for infrastructure employees. Prepare and submit necessary reports to government agencies as required. Process regular payroll cycles on time, ensuring accuracy in calculations and timely disbursement of salaries. Handle any discrepancies or errors in payroll processing promptly and efficiently. Generate pay stubs and distribute them to employees. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee payroll information, benefits, and other related data. Ensure data security and compliance with privacy regulations while handling sensitive employee information. Communicate with employees regarding payroll-related matters, including changes in compensation, benefits, and deductions. Assist employees with inquiries and concerns related to their paychecks and benefits. Work closely with HR, Finance, and other relevant departments to ensure seamless coordination of payroll processes.
