Job description Roles and Responsibilities Develop and ensure implementation of HR policies and practices linked to recruitment, selection & Induction, Performance & Rewards, Learning & Development, Talent management as well as personnel policies for Baazar Style Retail Limited, Kolkata Responsibility for full recruitment life cycle across all functions as per SOP and TAT. • Ensure the team implements the Recruitment Plan as per the Annual Operating Plan. Ensure the formulation and implementation of a cost-effective Recruitment Plan. Ensure that the Job Requisition Forms are completed for all positions sourced New/Replacements. Sourcing candidates through Internal Job Postings and evaluating Function/Region Transfer options. Sourcing candidates across Recruitment Database, Job Portals, Social Media, Employee Referrals, Job Fairs, Campus interviews etc. Conducting competency based interviews either through VC/Telephone/In-Person interactions. Offer Management including Negotiation, Reference Check, Background Verification and Relationship Management. Liaison with the HR Operations/Administration/IT/Learning & Development Team to ensure they are kept informed of all new hires and joining dates and respective inputs. Weekly review meetings with function stakeholders Recruitment tracker management Budget Management Custodians of HR transactions related to key policy administration; Collaborate with other HR team members for the same Ensure processes are in place for smooth induction and onboarding of the new Joiners into the respective departments. Manage probation & confirmation processes of new Joiners in collaboration with other HR team members. Ensure proper communication to employees in the form of appointment letters, transfer letters, promotion letters, relieving letters, experience certificate, salary certificate, etc. Devise and implement Employee Retention strategies under the guidance of CHRO to reduce employee turnover & enhance employee engagement. Design and implement various performance linked incentive, and sales incentive schemes for employees at various levels Execute the On-boarding process within the organization Organization, Functional or Region level as per guidelines received from the Learning & Development. Conduct skip level meetings and gauge the engagement level of the employee during the on-boarding phase. Coordinates people planning and movement in store, in collaboration with Retail and HODs. Handle day to day store HR operations work and follow up with the respective team for smooth operation at store level. Support in deployment of Store Team employee before New Store Opening Desired Candidate Profile Only female candidates with atleast four years of proven experience in handling entire gamut of HR Generalist areas with exposure in Onboarding, Employee Engagement & Performance Management.
