● About the Role: As an HR Executive at IARC, you will play a crucial role in managing the human resources and talent acquisition functions of the organization. You will be responsible for fostering a positive work culture and facilitating the growth and development of employees. Your key responsibilities will involve recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, performance management, and compliance with HR policies and procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled HR professional to contribute to the growth of a dynamic and internationally focused academic and research consortium. ● Responsibilities: 1. Talent Acquisition: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making job offers. 2. Onboarding: Facilitate smooth onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring they are integrated into the organization effectively. 3. Employee Engagement: Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and promote a positive work environment. 4. Performance Management: Coordinate performance appraisal processes, provide support to managers, and assist in identifying employee development opportunities. 5. HR Policies and Procedures: Ensure compliance with company HR policies and procedures and keep abreast of relevant employment laws and regulations. 6. Training and Development: Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and organize training sessions and workshops for employees. 7. Employee Relations: Address employee queries and concerns and foster a positive and inclusive work culture. 8. HR Administration: Maintain accurate HR records and databases, including employee information, attendance, leave, and benefits. 9. Compliance: Ensure adherence to labor laws, data protection regulations, and other relevant legal requirements. 10. HR Reporting: Prepare HR-related reports and metrics for management review. ● Candidate Requirements: 1. Education: bachelor's degree in human resources management, Business Administration, or a related field. A postgraduate degree or HR certifications would be advantageous. 2. Experience: Proven experience as an HR Executive or in a similar HR role, preferably in an academic, research, or multinational environment. 3. Recruitment Skills: Demonstrated expertise in full-cycle recruitment, including candidate sourcing, interviewing, and selection. 4. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels. 5. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address HR-related challenges and implement effective solutions. 6. Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple tasks with a high level of organization. 7. Team Player: Collaborative approach with the ability to work as part of a diverse team and build positive working relationships. 8. Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in HR software, MS Office suite, and other relevant HR tools. 9. Knowledge: Familiarity with HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations in India, particularly in Assam. 10. Language: Proficiency in English and local languages would be beneficial.
