Job description
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Recruitment
Design and implement overall recruitment strategy.
Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications all the positions.
Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs appropriately internally and externally i.e. IJP/job board, newspapers, social media, campus, agencies, employee referrals desks etc.
Sourcing the competent candidates using all the sources.
Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates as per the requirements and coordinate with functional heads for further assessment.
Assess applicants relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes.
Arranging for reference check and documentation.
Salary negotiation with the selected candidates and releasing the Letter of Intents.
Onboard new employees in order to become fully integrated.
Sending the joining announcements of senior profiles.
Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices.
Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team.
Arranges senior profiles interviews by coordinating schedules; arranges travel, lodging and meals; escorting applicant to interviews; arranging community tours etc.
Manages new employee relocation by determining new employee requirements; negotiating with movers; arranging temporary housing; providing community introductions.
Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks.
Coordination with colleges and other agencies for Intern/ trainees, manage the intern program by conducting orientations; scheduling rotations and assignments; monitoring intern job contributions; coaching interns; advising managers on training and coaching.
Promote companys reputation as best place to work
Establishes scientific manpower plan/budget by studying organization plans and objectives; meeting with managers to discuss needs.
Justification for the additional manpower requirements.
Arranging locum doctors as and when requirement arises.
Talent Management.
Employee Engagement activities.
Conducting employee exit interviews and preparing the analysis reports month on month.
Compensation & Benefits benchmarking.
2. Onboarding formalities:
Joining Formalities, Bank account opening, ID card, Email ID creation, HIS creation, Business Cards, Uniforms, Sim Card, Seating Arrangements, Appointment Letters.
3. Open Door:
To attend the queries / complaints raised by the employees/still working certificates for employees.
4. Payroll & Statutory:
Monthly/periodical inputs to Corporate - Payroll, TDS & F&F
Coordinating with corporate for new employee registration in ESI, EPF and any other statutory benefits and any statutory related responsibilities
5. PMS:
Probationary confirmations - sending the forms to concerned HOD's and collecting back with the reviews.
Variable Pay - coordinating with the concerned HOD's for deliverable to release the variable pay.
Annual Appraisals - sending the forms, collecting the reviewed forms, preparing the consolidated sheet, aligning the performance ratings as per the organization.
6. IR:
Promote companys reputation as “best place to work”.
7. Contractual Staff:
Taking rounds across the hospital to check the availability of optimal staff.
Scrutinizing the bills for payment.
Ensure 100% compliance of statutory requirements.

In our initial years itself, we at SPARSH have achieved much that we are truly proud of. We have performed some very complex surgeries, have pushed ourselves every single day and have tried to always live up to our endeavour of touching as many lives as possible. For us at SPARSH, every day is a new day which comes with different opportunities, new challenges and the opportunity to reach out to more people.
At SPARSH we stand for achieving Clinical Excellence with Social Relevance. Making a difference and having a larger impact on our Society at large is very fundamental to us. We want to make quality healthcare accessible to the poorer and we see this as our responsibility. In 2009 we started SPARSH Vachana which has now become an annual event where we perform surgeries for children with complex orthopedic conditions completely free of cost. Seeing the smiles on the faces of these little ones and their families after the success of these surgeries is the greatest reward we could ask for.
The following year we decided to reach out to the elderly in our society. We started Guru Namana which is again held once a week every year where we operate on teachers with orthopedic problems, again completely free of cost. This initiative has touched the lives of many and is helping us reach out to a wide cross section of people.
We are not content with resting on our accomplishments. Pushing the norms and challenging the status quo is what motivates us to do even better. We had always wanted to start a Hospital specifically for higher end interventions in the area of Orthopedics, which would bring the finest talent from India and abroad and where medical care would truly be of an internationally renowned standard. SPARSH Hospital For Advanced Surgeries was inaugurated in April 2011 in Bangalore. With this new endeavor we seek to reach the zenith in our field.
We at SPARSH know we have a lot to feel proud of. In a short span of just 9 years we have achieved a tremendous amount. Today, we are successfully delivering our excellence as Super-Specialty Hospital in Yeshwanthpur (Launched in May 2015). SPARSH has grown to a 1000+ employees with expertise across various specialties and delivering excellent care to people from all walks of life.
But we want to do more and it is this energy and zeal that makes each moment an opportunity to exceed what has already been achieved. Our story, we believe is a journey. It has no end.
