Partnering with hiring managers to determine staffing needs Screening resumes Performing in-person and phone interviews with candidates Performing reference and background checks Making recommendations to company hiring managers Coordinating interviews with the hiring managers Following up on the interview process status Maintaining relationships with both internal and external clients to ensure staffing goals are achieved Communicating employer information and benefits during the screening process Staying current on the company's organization structure, personnel policy, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices Serving as a liaison with area employment agencies, colleges, and industry associations Completing timely reports on employment activity Conducting exit interviews on terminating employees Answering employee questions Processing incoming mail Maintaining computer system by updating and entering data Setting appointments and arranging meetings Maintaining calendars of the HR management team Compiling reports and spreadsheets and preparing spreadsheets Posting job ads and organizing resumes and job applications Scheduling job interviews and assisting in the interview process Overseeing the completion of compensation and benefit documentation Conducting benefit enrollment process Administering new employment assessments Serving as a point person for all new employee questions Maintaining current HR files and MIS databases Updating and maintaining employee benefits, employment status, and similar records Statutory compliance. Completing termination paperwork and assisting with exit interviews
