Roles and Responsibilities - Human Resource Management
Manpower planning, posting job requirements, short-listing employees, conducting walk-in interviews/ first round
Generate draft offer letters/ contract letters for selected candidates, collect documents from employees as per standard checklist
Onboard new employee (induction, employee policy, employee ID, mobile SIM, PayBooks, visiting card, Insurance, new bank account etc
Maintain complete data base of all employees in specified format and update them regularly. Maintain HR files such as employee personal files, recruitment file, PF related documents. Update employee information on online payroll portal/ attendance portal
Develop and implement human resources policies and procedures. Explain employee policy to new employees and clear any doubts as and when
Handle employee grievances formally and informally, forward them to concerned department and follow up for resolution. Play the role of employee champion by knowing and counselling employees as and when required
Implement and monitor performance management and improvement system. Track probation/ confirmation of employees/ upcoming appraisals/ records
Share new employee details with concerned representatives for insurance/PF/ ESI. Maintain employee records for labour law compliance and submitting duly filled ESI, PF related forms/ challans with labour law consultants
Track attendance and leaves, ensure compliance, penalties for non-compliance. Provide payroll inputs such as attendance summary, leave summary, other deductions to accounts team in specified format for processing salaries + to labour consultant for processing PF/ESI

We are a 10 year old MSME, based out of Bangalore (Mahadevapura/ Whitefield). We specialize in customized lighting solutions for commercial/ office spaces. It's a B2B or D2B model wherein we design and manufacture architectural and custom-made lighting products and provide an end-to-end solution to our clients. We have a team of about 45 professionals across teams, majority being from mechanical or electrical engineering background.
