The original company was established in the year 1981 when its director, Mr. Kumar Dhami began operations by purchasing a small mobile crane and renting it to contractors. The company was incorporated in the year 1994 under the name of M/s. Kumar Crane & Transport Pvt. Ltd.
In the year 2008, M/s. Kumar Crane & Transport Pvt. Ltd. was renamed as M/s. Access Platforms Rental Pvt. Ltd. to bring about a sharper focus on its service offering of access equipment.
With a view to drive brand visibility and realise the growth aspiration of the company, M/s Access Platform Equipment Limited got christened as brand “APEL”.
Today, APEL is one of the largest players in the rentals of Mastclimbers, Construction & Material Hoists, Boomlifts and Scissorlifts in India.
