Full job description
The Compensation & Benefits Analyst is responsible for providing staff support activities to develop, implement, and administer compensation and benefits policies and programs.
General Responsibilities
Key participant in the development of annual salary structures, compensation analyses and benefit program / activities
Performs audits on job content as well as creating and maintaining job descriptions
Reviews and provides recommendations on compensation analyses such as market adjustments and promotions
Key participant in compensation and benefit surveys to analyze the company’s position to market and competitiveness
Experience / Qualifications
A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
Complete a total remuneration competitive assessment of existing C&B practices against the local market to determine go forward competitive strategy
Maintains a working knowledge of national legislation influencing compensation and benefits.
Coordinate, provide support, analytics and systems administration for the annual compensation planning process (including salary planning and bonus allocations)
Help to develop and improve internal compensation communication and education
Manage group insurance vendor, monitor service quality and internal process, review the plan and contract on annual basis
Provide HR integration support for company acquisitions by analyzing and converting appropriately M&A compensation programs to Sensata structure as needed
Knowledge of WorkDay is a plus
Strong English speaking and writing skills
