Job description Company Name: Betterlifekart Position: HR & Admin Executive Department: HR Department Work Location: Kolkata Report to: Managing Director Job Overview: The HR and Admin Executive plays a crucial role in supporting the operations of the company. This role involves a combination of human resources and administrative responsibilities to ensure the smooth functioning of the organization and the well-being of its employees. Role Expectation: Develop effective recruitment strategies and implement the same to meet the organization's staffing needs. Engage, retain, and motivate workforce for higher productivity and organisational success. Ensure HR compliance, workplace safety, ethical conduct, and inclusive work environment. Maintain positive employee relations, facilitate conflict management for a harmonious work culture. Job Responsibilities: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees. Maintain accurate employee records, including personal details, attendance, leaves, and performance evaluations. Documentation for managing Employee life cycle. Coordinate employee training and development programs to enhance skills and competencies. Collaborate with finance department to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll and other compensation benefits according to the company policy. Oversee general office administration, including managing office supplies, equipment, and maintenance. Manage correspondence, emails, and phone inquiries, and direct them to appropriate concern/departments. Stay updated on labour laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure the company's compliance. Maintain and update company records, databases, and files. Assist in organizing meetings, conferences, and events, including making travel arrangements and coordinating logistics. Required qualifications & skillset: Masters degree/bachelors degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field. Experience in recruitment, payroll management, employee engagement activities and ability to handle general administrative roles of the company. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with employees, management, and external stakeholders. Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships, resolve conflicts, and facilitate effective teamwork. Proficiency in MS Office and email communication. Ability to work independently without supervision and collaboratively with teams.
