Role Description:
To take complete charge of the people processes at Salasar Services (Insurance Broker) Pvt. Ltd . with respect to people management from entry to exit with focus on talent management including training and development, implementation of people processes, building appropriate organisation culture and embedding core values and guiding principles.
Job Responsibilities:
Financial
Ensure Improve productivity and resource utilization to impact profitability
Undertake complete manpower planning to match the business plan of the businesses and control expenses accordingly
Ensure to Control recruitment cost through continuously finding alternative staffing routes
Operate with budgets with respect to stationary, travel, facilities and other admin related costs
Business Process
Ensure implementation of HR Policy and code of conduct
Ensure timely servicing of staffing needs through coordination with staffing agencies, leveraging social media platforms and proper process of interview and selection as well as issue of timely offer and appointment letters and mails
Ensure appropriate maintenance of attendance and leave records
Ensure effective implementation of the performance management process
Ensure accurate and timely salary administration
Ensure complete statutory compliance for labour laws
Ensure increments, promotions, salary revision are done on merit and on time
Interface with group insurance agencies for processing GMC/GPA inclusion, exclusion and renewal
Monitor the Process Attendance, TDS, advance, loan on Paypac and update Paypac as per timelines, calculation in the salary collate details of employees' expense on the job and send the same to accounts for salary processing, disburse payslips to employees
Monitor the Complete Joining & Exit Formalities:
o Documentation & P.I form, salary a/c opening and issue of appointment letter when an employee joins and issue confirmation letter on completion of probation
o Arrange for visiting cards and other stationary for new team members
o Ensure in collaboration with the IT department the creation of Salasar Id & SAIBA ID/KPTS/SARB (when employee joins) and the disablement of the same when the employee exits
Ensure to Facilitate timely payment of electricity, telephone, rent bills and other facilities and infrastructure
§ File information with IRDA for opening/ closing of branch and other key changes
Customer
Ensure effective induction and integration of all new recruits
Ensure that all team members across functions demonstrate customer focus.
Ensure proper grooming of all employees, particularly those interfacing with clients
Ensure that all team members are always sensitive to the internal customer requirements and take proactive steps to address the same.
Promote employer branding in coordination with all HODs
Generate appropriate MIS for senior management and HODs to monitor manpower movement, attendance and productivity as well as recruitment status
Ensure proper exits, conduct exit interviews and provide feedback to take corrective action towards building greater employee connect
Finalise and communicate Holiday List of all Branches
Ensure internal customers are provided with safe and clean premises
Ensure that First AID box and fire extinguishers are always refilled
Ensure guest house booking and flight bookings members are done on time when team members are travelling on work
People Growth
Ensure intake of quality manpower with minimum turnaround time and creation of high performance teams
Cascade of core values and guiding principles of the Organisation to employees
Take corrective action for enforcement of discipline and practice of core values and guiding principles by all employees through employee relations, counseling, initiation and execution of disciplinary action against errant employees as per legal provisions
Manage and restrict employee grievance through transparent communication and caring attitude
Review periodically the responsibility, authority and accountability of key employees and provide feedback for necessary amendment as and when required
Partner setting goals in sync with the strategic goals of SMDA and performance objectives (SMART Key Result Areas with corresponding KPIs) for all employees at the beginning of the financial year and their periodic review and evaluation.
Ensure that training needs of all employees are identified, development action plans are formulated and continuous education implemented for them towards building capability for the present and the future
Ensure compliance of IRDA norms for Brokers Training and renewal of Broker Certificate of Employees on time
Build engagement through the Reward and Recognition programme, suggestions from team members and Employee Engagement initiatives like picnics, Diwali gift distribution and parties
